From Palazzo Barberini, recently restored to its antique splendor, to the Church of Sant'Andrea al Quirinale, via the sites that witnessed the birth of their talents, and their tragic rivalry.
With Augustus' Rome, accompanied by a professional achaeologist, you will retrace the antique paths of Imperial Rome. You will visit the monuments commissioned by Augustus to transform his capital from a city of brick to a city of marble. From the magnificent obelisk of Montecitorio to the controversial new Ara Pacis museum, via two thousand years of urban evolution.
